Clark/Sullivan delivered the Jan Evans Juvenile Detention Center six months ahead of schedule. Our strategy included prefabbing the two-inch steel panels and ceilings before setting them in place and grouting them. The holding cells also featured CMU. Grouting inside the steel panels made them stronger.
The design featured 108 beds, areas for community services program recreation, administration, education, counseling and other support services.
Clark/Sullivan self performed the layout, CMU shoring, ledgers and embeds, CMU wood plates, security doors and hardware. We coordinated all the detention cell doors hardware and installation with security contractor who did the wiring and head end equipment. n nn
