As a design-build team, Clark/Sullivan and Van Woert Bigotti Architects created the new home for the KNPB Channel 5 studio.Funded solely from community donations, the team worked together with Channel 5 to set up an “in-Kind” donation program where subcontractors and material suppliers could donate to the project for on-air credit or other station services. The extra funding available provided over 8,000 square feet of shell space to facilitate growth and expansion in the future.n

The entire project was constructed for under $100 per square foot and included production studios, engineering space, volunteer and staff offices and a multi-use community room.n n
