Robla School District Modernization consisted of three phased Projects. The first two phases were interior modernizations to 4 elementary schools, including creation of 21st century classrooms, modernizations to the administration buildings, parking lots, and restrooms.

The final phase was a reconstruction of the Main Avenue Elementary school. This phase consisted of the demolition of the existing permanent buildings and construction of a new Administration and Classroom building, New Multipurpose building, site modernization, and upgrades to the site sewer system taking the site off septic tanks and bringing in city sewer.

“Major construction could be very disruptive to a daily school schedule with 300 students and staff at school. But this was not the case. Team members were very professional throughout the entire project. They worked diligently to understand our needs through regular communication. They were courteous, service oriented, dependable and reliable.” – Gail Hunt, Principal, Main Avenue Elementary School

To keep Main Elementary open during construction, we did the following:

  1. Broke the school into 3 phases: a) created a temporary school utilizing portables; b) demo existing buildings; c) built new classroom, admin and multipurpose room.
  2. Provided extensive design options and value engineering to District to get the most value for their funds.
