Clark/Sullivan led a two-phase improvement project for the Lincoln Unified School District. The project included the construction of a new engineering and construction academy, the building of a parking lot, as well as modernization and structural retrofitting of two existing facilities on the site.
Phase 1 included construction of 9,500 square feet of new building, and Phase 2 included 6,000 square feet of modernization of existing wood shops and the addition of a maintenance building.
“We are proud to be part of this one-of-a-kind building both in its concept as well as its development and design. Not only will the academy provide a roof to learn under, but the students will use the building itself as a reference tool to what they are learning in their classes. The systems and structural members will be exposed and color coded for easy visualization and learning opportunities, along with a mock construction site put in place to be utilized by students. ” – Sean Burnie, Project Executive, Clark/Sullivan Construction
