Nevada Supreme Court
This important Clark/Sullivan project included specialty artwork, interior marble, exterior granite, sweeping interior stairways, and even bulletproof glass around the Supreme Court bench. The ornate judicial building was scheduled to be constructed over a 30 month period, yet, in spite of severe weather and a high ground water table, Clark/Sullivan completed this project in less than 24 months, six months ahead of schedule. Included in the construction was a specially designed one ton, eight foot diameter bronze State of Nevada seal installed in the granite floor of the main lobby. State-of-the-art security systems, including dozens of security cameras, video monitors and detection devices were a vital part of the building design and construction.
“All work was completed in a professional and timely manner by Clark/Sullivan, including the work of project change orders, which were primarily the result of design changes requested by the Supreme Court.” – Richard Knapp, AIA n
