Clark/Sullivan Construction completed phase 3 of the Carpenters’ Dormitory in their International Training Center using CMAR delivery. The center consists of 165 short-term lodging units built on 89,064 square feet. This 6-story expansion is located at the south end of the existing facility. It was completed on time for the Guaranteed

After many years of being a signatory to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners, C/S had the honor of working directly with International President Doug McCarron to ensure the dormitory was a flagship project.

The project included expansion of the central plant, additional dormitory rooms, and spaces for administration offices, recreation areas, mechanical utility, an executive gym, and a gift shop, along with expanded laundry facilities. The existing swimming pool equipment was relocated. The construction system consisted of load-bearing CMU walls with cast-in-place concrete floor and roof slabs. A single ply roof membrane over tapered rigid insulation was installed over the concrete or metal deck.
