University of Nevada, Las Vegas – Tonopah Residence Hall
This $12.4 million residence hall houses 433 undergraduate students. The six-story, 100,000 square foot structure, which features block and plank construction, also has a computer lab and a fitness room. This project was under construction while students were attending classes and is located in the heart of the UNLV campus.
Even with an aggressive 13-month schedule, Clark/Sullivan Construction was able to successfully complete this project without disrupting classes.
Clark/Sullivan’s hard work and excellent communication resulted in a great working partnership with UNLV and the construction management team. Clark/Sullivan self-performed all concrete plank erection, concrete work, door frame and hardware activities, and roof curbs and nailers. This project was the winner of the NAIOP Spotlight Award in 2001.
